New study reveals a direct link between your mood and the success rate of surgery!
A recent study throws light on the link between mood and the success rate of surgery. As per a study that has been presented in the annual meeting of Radiology Society of North America, a patient’s mood may decide how smoothly surgery happens. Patients who are excessively anxious or stressed about the surgery may not have a smooth surgery. On the contrary, patients who are calm and stable have better surgeries.
1 Who Were Included in the Study?
The researchers studied 230 cases of surgeries that comprised of 110 male patients and 120 female patients of the average age of 55 years. These were patients who underwent different surgery procedures like kidney and vascular interventions. These were image guided interventional radiology procedures.
